Final Thoughts on Stand for Freedom

Today, we concluded the 27 hours of standing! I ended up standing for about 5 hours total and it was such a humbling experience. Sometimes it takes standing out in the cold for long periods of time to realize how good we really do have it and how thankful we need to be. Standing for 27 hours is NOTHING compared to what people in slavery have to go through each day. So thankful for the experience to stand up for those who cannot and thankful for three of my friends who started this movement at Mizzou and stood the entire 27 hours!

Last night around 10, we had worship and prayer. It was good.

This morning, Kevin and I took a shift. I love this picture.

  1. I love, love, love that you are talking about modern slavery, it’s an issue that no a lot of people know about and anyway we can make it known is great! Good for you for standing for freedom!
