Best Camera Accessory

When it comes to taking photos, I always want to be up close getting the perfect photo. Before I went to Canada last year, I looked into waterproof camera bags because I knew I would want to take my camera as close to Niagara Falls as I could get. I didn’t want to be one of the people who exposes their camera to water and then it ends up broken for the rest of the trip. I ended up buying a DiCAPac off Amazon a couple weeks before the trip. Let me just say that I got it there and LOVED it.

caseHere is what it looks like. Maybe a little bulky looking but it is so protective. When you first get it, the directions tell you to put a little air in it and then submerge it in water just to make sure that there are no leaks before you actually get your camera out there. I suggest doing this every time before you plan on getting it wet. This case also works for underwater use so you can’t be too careful.

When you are getting ready to use it, you set your camera inside and then zip it in, and then roll down the top and then it also Velcros. As you can see in the photo, the front where the lens is also unscrews to change lens or to use the camera when you are not getting soaked by water. Otherwise, you can shoot right through the plexiglass with no glare! Under the water, there was no doubt in my mind that this case would protect my camera. I can’t wait to get to use this on a beach and in the ocean!

Here are some of the photos that I took while using the case:

After being on the boat and snapping these photos, my camera bag was drenched. I would have never even entertained the idea of taking my camera without protecting it. I love how these photos turned out and I love the waterproof case.
